Papa johns pizza

Papa Johns Pizza was started by John Schnatter in Rocky’s Sub Pub while Schnatter was attending Jeffersonville High School. He graduated in 1980 but still continued his little pizza shop while he was a student at Ball State University. When he graduated, he worked for his father who was also the co-owner of Mick’s lounge. In order to buy out the other owners, he sold his car and then started his own personal pizza to customers.

Papa John’s owes its great success to its great customer service, quality products, and menu simplicity. This differs from other pizza chains that solely focus on low prices. Since the mid-1990s, Papa John’s has followed the industry trend and greatly expanded its menu options. These options include adding thin-crust, pan pizza, and whole wheat crust options in addition to “robusto”, barbecue, and Alfredo sauces. Papa John’s also includes 10 specialty pizzas, many with new toppings and new types of cheeses. Other non-pizza options include chicken strips and three flavors of chicken wings, bread sticks, and cheese sticks.

Some different types of specialty pizzas Papa John’s has are “the works, Hawaiian BBQ chicken, Grilled chicken club, spicy Italian, spinach alfredo, Garden fresh and tons more.” A small pie is 9.99, large is 12.99, Large is 15.99, Large with thin crust is 15.99, and finally extra large is 17.99.
