Will be staying with my relatives in Cebu for a little more than a month. My family and I went back there for a vacation 2 years ago. But now I am planning on going back alone. I will be going in June and I hear that is the peak season(?) so that’s a boo boo for me. LOL Anyways, any tips on packing, DOCS TO BRING, boarding, traveling, money, internet (I have to have this there) xD would be greatly appreciated.

Let me just add my travel experience before. So I traveled with my family so given I wasn’t independent on traveling there but I kinda remember how the terminals, boardings worked etc. Now should I be scared doing it myself? LOL I am not really worried about what to bring during the flight because I could just sleep and I have an iPod to listen to hehehe

My family will be fetching me up at the airport and everything so don’t have to worry about that. But my question now is about the money. I’m sure I’d end up close to being broke while I’m there alone with families and friends. LOL I had traveler’s checks then and I kinda remember having troubles getting them cashed so would you advise just forgetting about them this time and just bring my Visa and some cash? Considering my length of stay there, how much do you think I’d end up spending? I really don’t plan on seeing some other places. I just want to see everyone and maybe take them out to eat, just Jollibee and some other cheap fast foods LOL, go malling and maybe bar hopping but not a lot ^_^

On packing, I’m from the Philippines so I should know how’s the climate there. But how much of clothes should I bring? And when I go back home :(, I am thinking of bringing back some gifts for everyone in the US so I am concerned about my luggage going back. If I end up bringing an extra one, how much do I need to pay? I also would like to bring back some clothes from the Philippines because they’re nicer and cheaper. So that’s one of my dilemmas.

About the internet, I plan on bringing my laptop with me as I don’t really like going out just to look for hotspots T_T. How do you think can I get fast connection while I’m there. I had inquired with Smart Bro before so anymore information about that would be super.

One more thing, if I find myself not having anymore money left and the circumstances arise that I have to go back sooner than I’ve planned, is there any way that I could go do that? I mean could I work with the airline here in Cebu?

Now for my last question LOL, I got a quote for airplane ticket for ,500.00. Does that sound reasonable considering the season and the time between now and the travel?
